MAY 2013


Stephen returns to London's Opera Holland Park this summer with new productons of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci which will launch the new season on June 4th. 

These pieces, performed as a double bill, will be conducted by Stuart Stratford and designed by Yannis Thavoris. Cav & Pag will be Stephen's sixth production for Opera Holland Park.


FEBRUARY 2013 

Stephen makes his debut at the renown Lyric Opera of Chicago with a new staging of Verdi's Rigoletto designed by Robert Innes Hopkins and costumes by Jane Greenwood. 

The season of ten performances will be conducted by Evan Rogister. 


NOVEMBER 2012 

Stephen's new production of a Triple Bill of rarely performed one-act operas 
will have four performances at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This unique programme is comprised of two operas by Massenet - La Navarraise and 
Le Portrait de Manon and Martinu's Comedy on the Bridge. Peter Robinson 
conducts and Yannis Thavoris designs sets and costumes. 



JUNE 2012 

Stephen makes his debut with Santa Fe Opera staging a new production of Tosca starring Amanda Echalaz, designed by Yannis Thavoris and conducted byFrederic Chaslin. Tosca will open the 56th season on Friday 29th June. 



MAY 2012 

Stephen makes his debut with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis staging a new production of  Carmen designed by Paul Edwards and conducted by 
Carlos Izcaray which will open the 37th season on Saturday 19th May.


MARCH 2012 

Stephen's new production of  The Magic Flute designed by Yannis Thavoris and conducted by Jane Glover will have four performances at the Royal Academy 
of Music this month. All performances are sold out.


FEBRUARY 2012

Stephen's debut production with the Wexford Festival Opera -  La Cour de Célimène - has been nominated for Best Opera Production of 2011 in the annual Irish Times annual Theatre Awards.
